In 2022, this prestigious site nestled in the heart of Vendée reinvented itself as a charming hotel and semi-gastronomic restaurant, while preserving the soul and elegance of its past. This project is, above all, a family adventure: two passionate sisters took the bold bet to breathe new life into this château, transforming it into a unique space where gastronomy, accommodation, and private events come together.
To accompany this transformation, I had the privilege of being entrusted with the creation of its visual identity.
The goal was to convey the elegance and prestige of the place while incorporating a touch of modernity. Through a sleek and refined logo, we designed a brand image worthy of this beautiful adventure, balancing heritage and renewal.
The logo reflects the timeless elegance of the place while honoring its rich historical heritage. The serif typography evokes the world of classic novels and fairy tales, a direct reference to the château's Renaissance architecture and its legendary atmosphere. A symmetrical floral ornament, inspired by the illuminations of ancient books, delicately frames the text, evoking both the beauty and the romantic spirit of the site. The black and white colors symbolize French luxury, while the subtle pale beige touch enriches the visual identity, adding a cozy aspect. This logo perfectly embodies the balance between the château's centuries-old history and its transformation into a modern, welcoming space.
The Château invites us to a refined culinary experience within its restaurant. Under the direction of Chef Michaël, the establishment offers seasonal, homemade cuisine that highlights fresh, local ingredients. The three elegantly decorated dining rooms can accommodate up to fifty guests. The menus are designed to satisfy every desire, with a diverse selection. Chef Michaël and his team are committed to providing a memorable gastronomic experience, blending tradition and creativity, in the enchanting setting of the château.
The Château is not limited to its restaurant: it also offers gîtes and guest rooms for a complete immersion in its exceptional setting. Restored with care, these rooms combine the charm of the old with modern comfort, providing a warm and refined atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the estate while benefiting from the château's high-end services, blending gastronomy, heritage, and the French art of living.
